2010 Fishing Season Begins

Today, March 20th was the first day of spring as well as the first tournament of the season for First River City Bassmasters.  Anglers had been practicing under cloudy skies intermittently the week before --a stark contrast to the mostly sunny conditions on tournament day.  Water temperatures ranged from 45-50 degrees in most areas and air temperature gradually warmed up to around 70 degrees F by the afternoon.  Due to a couple of warm days prior, a lot of big fish moved up and fed.  This proved to be a successful day for many of our anglers and co-anglers.

Check out our photos taken under the "Photos (Patoka Lake Tournament 2010)" which were taken right after weigh in.  Stay tuned as well for "official results" and standings.
